Plumbing and HVAC
The Residences at Penniman Hill project consists of the new construction of a three story assisted living and memory care facility in Hingham, Massachusetts. The first floor is comprised of memory care areas including common spaces, seating, and dining area. The second floor consists of assisted living are, common space, seating and dining space, and a separate commercial kitchen. The third floor is primarily assisted living dwelling units.
HVAC – installed a VRF system with AC splits for buildings one and two. Fresh air is supplied by an energy recovery unit one for each building.
Plumbing – The plumbing scope consisted of a code compliant mix of PVC and cast iron for the sanitary as well as CPVC and copper on the water pipe for the 93 unit residential building including a complete commercial kitchen. The hot water source was a combination of two 500,000 BTU boilers with four 119-gallon storage tanks.
